A green exhibition run by UK AWARE is to open its doors next weekend on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th April. With the strapline ‘Ideas for greener living’, the exhibition hopes to send a clearer message to consumers of the eco-products available on the market as well as offering useful advice on reducing your carbon footprint.
The exhibition is to take place in London Olympia 2, running from 10am – 6pm. It is the only event of its kind in the UK and will feature talks by guest speakers such as Penny Kemp, director of the Big Green Gathering, and Andrew Davis, director of the Environmental Transport Association, as well as many others including TV presenters and bloggers.
Exhibitors showcasing the latest green innovations in technology, transport, food, fashion, travel and products for use around the home hope to show the public that there are green alternatives to everything that we use on a daily basis. If this isn’t enough to keep you busy all day, there will also be a clothes swapping party and a green screen cinema, as well as a green marketplace.
UK AWARE isn’t just for visitors to find out how to live a greener lifestyle, but is also a chance for businesses to communicate with others in their sector and for investors to fund and sponsor green start-ups.
If you would like to go along to the exhibition, tickets are just £5 when bought online, or you can get a free ticket when you buy the latest issue of the ecologist. Take the whole family for a great green day out!
