4/5
Texture and smell
The smell is not what I’d have expected from a natural product, having the aroma of baby powder, but it was pleasant nonetheless. The clay texture is lovely, and moist enough to not feel cakey when applied to the skin. Despite the packaging stating a 12month shelf life, I could see it drying out before then once opened however.
3/5
Ease of use
When applying the product, it’s quite tricky to get it to stick to your skin properly, so make sure you only use a small amount at a time. You also have to really press it on to the skin in order to gain full facial coverage. The product is then left on for 5 minutes, after which starts the messy process of removing the clay, so make sure you have plenty of water and towels on hand because trust me, you’ll need them!

Results
Does it leave me feeling as pretty as the packaging claims? Well, I certainly felt refreshed long after I’d removed the product, and my skin did feel smoother. So, if you’re looking for a gentle exfoliator to brighten and refresh your skin and want to recreate that spa experience at home, then this product is definitely one to consider.

Value for money
At £7.75 for a 50ml pot, this is a mid-range face mask product. You can probably get 5 applications from each pot, however making it £1.55 per use, but with a wide choice of other products on the market, I’d rather spend the money on an alternative. The longer shelf life compared to fresh products though give it an edge.

Conclusion
In terms of eco credentials, this product packs a punch, but be prepared to take time applying and removing the mask; if you want a quick treatment, this mask isn’t the product for you.
